RAJA AMPAT MAP

A trip to Raja Ampat is a real adventure. First, you must be ready for a long journey to reach the Last paradise on Earth. The city of Sorong is the port of entrance of Raja Ampat. You can fly there directly from Bali or Jakarta. But most of the flights usually have a stopover in Makassar in Sulawesi. Once in Sorong you transit to its harbour to take the ferry going to Waisai on Waigeo island. From here, you either depart for your cruise in Raja Ampat or you get a pickup by boat from your on-land accommodation. Most of the guesthouses and dive centers are located on the islands of Kri, Gam, Fam or Waigeo. Those islands offer amazing diving and snorkeling excursions with turtles, parrotfishes, lion fishes, sharks, rays, tasselled wobbegong in a decor of colorful corals. From there, you can also easily reach Piaynemo panorama and have the chance to see the famous bird of paradise during a short jungle trek. Going for a cruise in Raja Ampat allows you to reach further remote islands with isolated villages and an under marine life to discover just for yourself.
