You are picked up at your hotel in Labuan Bajo or at the airport. After a presentation of the boat and the crew, your private cruise in Komodo begins! You cast off and make your first snorkeling stop on Kelor Island. Climb its small hill that leads to a beautiful panorama of the Komodo bay. Then, you visit the traditional village of Rinca, on Rinca Island. The houses here are built on stilts to protect against wild animals and especially Komodo dragons. You anchor for the night near Kalong Island where you enjoy the sunset. Here, at dusk, thousands of flying foxes leave for their nightly hunt.

Day 3: Komodo Island - Pink beach - Manta Point - Siaba island

Komodo Dragons, pink sand beach and swim with the Mantas

Early in the morning, you head directly to the Komodo National Park to meet the famous Komodo Dragons and other wild animals that live on this savannah-like island. A ranger will guide you through the park. You can choose between short (20 minutes), medium and long (1 hour) hikes.

You then sail to Long Beach and its pink sand. Much better preserved than its sidekick Pink Beach, the sand is incredibly pink due to the tiny fragments of coral that are scattered there. You continue to Manta Point where the manta rays, intrigued by your presence, come to swim alongside you. Then the magic continues to Siaba Island where you snorkel amongst turtles, corals and hundreds of colorful fish.
